Dr David Brain

David joined the CRE-RHAI in March 2013, after contributing to an evaluation of the National Hand Hygiene Initiative. David has a background in public health research, health technology assessment and healthcare sector planning. David holds a Master of International Public Health (University of Queensland), and his PhD project with the CRE-RHAI will examine health care interventions intended to reduce transmission of Clostridium difficile infection, using cost-effectiveness and mathematical modelling. David will work collaboratively between the CRE-RHAI and researchers at the University of Queensland School of Population Health.
