General Practitioner Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme Study (GAPS)

General Practitioner Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme Study (GAPS) is an exciting research project to evaluate the uptake and effectiveness of a number of interventions for the management of Acute Respiratory Infections  in General Practice in S.E. Queensland. This trial is funded by the Department of Health and being conducted by The University of Queensland, Bond University and QUT. The study aims to reduce antibiotic resistance in Australia, by reducing the antibiotic prescribing rates for acute respiratory infections.
